My name is Noemy (no-emmy) and I was born and raised in Richmond, VA. Although I was born and raised here, I am Salvadoran-American, proud of my heritage and the vibrant culture it brings to my life. After graduating from Virginia Tech with my degree in Real Estate and Property Management in 2021, I set out for a new adventure in Miami, Florida. There, I had the opportunity to work as a property manager for a Fortune 500 REIT, an exciting role that allowed me to showcase my skills and expertise in the industry.

While I enjoyed my career in property management, there was always a lingering feeling inside of me that something was missing. Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for hosting events and gathering with my loved ones. From Wine Wednesdays to Brunch Sundays and even Taco Tuesdays, I have always been the one to create memorable experiences for those around me. My friends, although teasingly labeling me as "extra", appreciated the attention to detail I put into every spread and made sure that everything was visually stunning and aesthetically pleasing. It was simply my way of sharing my love for creating unforgettable moments.

When I made the decision to move back to my hometown of Richmond, Virginia, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to pursue my dream of starting my own company. And thus, the concept of Bar-Ella Mobile Bar was born. Combining my experience in bartending, having spent 5 years working in my family's restaurant, with my innate love for socializing and building relationships, I decided to create a mobile bar service that would bring joy and sophistication to any event.

The name "Bar-Ella" holds a special significance to me. I wanted a name that could effortlessly be pronounced in both of my languages, English and Spanish, while also embodying the essence of my woman-owned business. That's when I came up with "Ella", which translates to "Her" in Spanish, perfectly symbolizing the strength and uniqueness of my business. It's a name that conveys simplicity, elegance, and authenticity - just like the service I strive to provide.
