Does Bar-Ella provide the alcohol?

No, Bar-Ella Mobile Bar does not sell or supply alcohol. Our packages include the bar rental, professional bartending, and essentials like garnishes, cups, straws, and napkins.

This lets you choose your preferred spirits! We offer a wide drink menu to suit different tastes and budgets, so you can enjoy your event without overspending.

Do you only service the Richmond, Virginia area?

Our company is based in Richmond, VA, but we're also available to travel for your events. Our packages include 30 miles of travel, with each additional mile costing just $3. We're ready to serve you!

I don't want a package, just a bartender for a small event. Can I book?

If you don’t need a full package, you can book a bartender only! Perfect for events with up to 50 guests, our bartending service is $100 per hour for up to 3 hours. Please note that this service includes only the bartender—no cups, garnishes, mixers, or ice are provided.

Does the package include setup and cleanup?

Yes! We come one hour before your event to setup and we stay until the end of our contract to break down. We make sure to leave everything as we found it.

What happens if we are enjoying our service too much and want to extend the time?

If you’re having a great time and want to extend, we’re happy to stay (if our schedule allows)! Additional hours are $100 per bartender, so you can keep the celebration going without a worry.

How much is due at the time of booking?

To reserve your date, a 50% deposit is due at booking, with the balance due four weeks before your event. For last-minute bookings (within four weeks), full payment is required at booking. We accept card, cash, money orders, and cashier’s checks.

If we’re providing the alcohol, what exactly are we paying for?

At Bar-Ella Mobile Bar, your satisfaction is our top priority.
When you provide the alcohol, you’re investing in our expertise, seamless service, and a worry-free experience. Beyond our billed hours, we dedicate extensive time to event planning, staffing, training, and preparation, ensuring every detail is managed with care. Our fees also cover necessary operational expenses like supplies, labor, insurance, and licensing, allowing us to maintain our high standards. We appreciate clients who value the quality and effort we bring to make each event unforgettable!

Do you provide alcohol permits?

Bar-Ella cannot apply for a banquet license on your behalf due to ABC laws, but we’re happy to guide you through the process. A banquet license costs $40 per day, plus a $15 application fee. For full details, visit the Virginia ABC website.

Can we choose to have our own cups/glassware?

You’re welcome to use your own cups or glassware! We offer branded 9 oz and 12 oz plastic cups, but if you prefer something different, we can help you find the perfect option. Please note, specialty cups may incur an additional charge.
